Usage data: Searches performed, leads saved, features used, pages visited, and interaction timestamps.

Payment information: Billing details are processed securely by Stripe. We never store, see, or have access to your full credit card number.

Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and general location data collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the FreightHunter platform
• Process transactions and send billing notifications
• Send product updates, tips, and educational content (you may opt out at any time)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Lead Data Sources

All shipper and business data provided through FreightHunter is sourced from publicly available sources, including:

• Google Maps Places API (public business listings)
• FMCSA federal database (public carrier and broker records)
• Google News RSS feeds (public news articles)
• Company websites and public directories
• LinkedIn public profiles (business information only)

We do not access private databases, purchase consumer data, or collect information through deceptive means.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who are necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic — AI processing and lead analysis
• Google — Maps API for business discovery

All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and comply with applicable privacy regulations, including GDPR.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained for the duration of your active account
• Post-closure: Account data is permanently deleted 90 days after account closure
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations
• Usage logs: Anonymized and aggregated after 12 months

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

9. Children

FreightHunter is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 30 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
